Doesn't PC double dip on logs and skada ect, meaning effective DPS is lower than what you see?

im am ilvl 634 now, its okish, feels like it needs a bit more love, Hard casting feels unrewarding whilst supernova feels really powerful for instant cast

Yeah I really want to play Fire, but looking at sims it looks like if the 20% nerf is not reverted it will struggle at 100.

only took the helm off for testing purposes so it wouldnt proc at different times during the test, was testing berserking and since haste is dynamically applied was interested to see how much 10 seconds was worth in the window of the combustions 20 seconds

So I did a dummy test without my helm on with berserking and without it .

Got 27 Combustion ticks with Berserking and 26 without.

You used to get extra ticks from combustion depending on haste. having that haste for 10 seconds during the combust i thought it might add extra ticks at the time dynamically

I have macro'd Berserking (15% haste for 10 secs) to Combustion with the new mechanics this should give Combustion some extra ticks right for 10 secs along with some extra damage based on new haste mechanics before the next tick? Thoughts? or should berserking be used in the pyro spam before combust...

Tooltips require an actual patch, so they don't reflect hotfixes until then.

also BLizzard is using CASC now which supposedly can allow patching to the client live, my understanding from Blizzard rep though is that it hasn't been fully implemented

Yeah all fine for 90 and SoO raids, I just hope they look into it when Expac hits and progression kicks in because by the looks of it Fire will lag behind. Frost will be pretty strong as it accumulates Multistrike if these changes stay for 100

Are you sure Fire has been nerfed yet? Blizzard rep said server restart was required for class changes and i checked my tooltips they still read the same damage.

Things are relatively close at 90, its at 100 T17 where fire will really struggle unless it gets buffed back up again

Yeah with the shorter fights as well I am sure its even more valuable.

I guess if I had the wand and Ominous belt it would factor differently.
