The Arcane Orb talent is still a bit odd for me. Assuming I'm in the burn phase, should I use it on cooldown? Should I save it for when I need the charges? If I'm in the conserve phase and with 4 AC when it comes off cooldown, should I delay it?

Personally, me and the other mage in the guild went IN/MI/TV too on our first kill because the guys on flamethrower duty couldn't handle the Sporeshooters alone. It does stack. I usually time it with the other mage in my group so we get a 20% healing increase. It's very nice when combo'ed with Tranquility.
