Actually I have found little explenation to why glyphing combustion gains you anything... I think what most people don't take into account (or don't realize) is that the first combustion is essentially free because it's off cooldown, so in the worst case for the glyph is that you gain at least half...

There is no doubt that stop casting fireball will result in a dps, and in a perfect scenario this would never be necesary. However i find the most reliable way to build a big combust with meteor is indeed to stop casting so that you can cast meteor with heating up + pyro proc. This is just my opinio...

People used to undervalue Kindling as a talent, now people are starting to realise the potential. Also it is stronger now that we have more crit and more haste.

So, I guess I do have a point about having to /Stopcast Fireball to maintain the Pyro! + Heating Up! procs when preparing to cast Meteor. Otherwise, your next Fireba...

Personally i tend to use it for high movement fights where it is difficult to get full use out of PC or Comet, or on progression when you/the tank is still learning positioning. I have found it very usefull for those situations, any other i tend to use PC or Comet depending on the fight.

Copelands has never been BiS for fire, it is very good but was only BiS Pre-Raid as that was the best together with Sandmans we had acces to.

rocking 666 ilvl with hc runestone and sandman 3/3 and im really enjoying fire atm. getting ignites in the opener from 7k - 12k depending on procs, luck and spec.

How come the 660 pvp trinket ranks higher on sims than the Alchemy trinket, when the alchemy trink has higher stats? Does it proc more often or what did i miss?

Edit: Found the answer, it has higher proc rate and longer proc time so the uptime is higher.
