So with Mastery affecting Water Jet, is the stat good enough to switch to Frost when your gear favors Arcane spec?

Basically, the Heroic trinkets gives both more int than the Sandman if i'm not mistaken. So since int>all stats, that's why they're better. That's a great point. I just have so much RNG issues with Fire because of crit droughts. One fight I'm topping the charts, the next time I am dead last. Sigh. ...

They do stack, so there's no penalty or anything for using them together. But the 2 heroic trinkets are better than using Goren/DMC.

Is anyone else having an issue with Prismatic Crystal placement for this boss? I place it right on the edge of the ledge in front of the boss but the damage isn't being calculated. It is driving me nuts. Where do y'all place your Crystal for Kromog?

OK. Thank you so much. I was considering using Frostbomb/IF/TV combo since it's ranked highly for multiple targets on the guide in the Frost forum. But some are saying Fire still does well with Frost-optimized gear in Techus. I think I will try Fire and see how I do.

I am not satisfied with my DPS on these two bosses. I am a new mage player so I'm still getting a handle on movement fights. I'll most likely be making my other spec Arcane for ST fights and Fire for cleave/Aoe heavy fights. Both specs enjoy Mastery so I think it'll work out nicely.
