Pretty dead thread but topical theme.
I would consider lowering cast time for firemages(specifically fireball) as the best tweak to our mechanics.
Another possible but tiny tweak is to increase scorch damage or/and scorch base crit chance(not worth casting all the time, but good to proc instapyro)
