I feel the same way. I used to spend so much time on Altered-time back in WoD days and it was very active. Since everyone seems to think Discord is better I've been kinda lost. I can't find information easily, there is just too much noise in the chat and the important stuff is really hard to find.

I'm not worried. A LOT can happen between now and the opening of raids. The fact that we are at the very bottom of the barrel in every spec almost guarantees that our numbers will be tuned at some point before raids.

I don't know, 50% seems like a pretty arbitrary number. Doesn't feel like they evaluated the impact on the nerf before buffing the raw damage. It could go bothways, hopefully it will turn out to be a buff.

What are the ilevel of the trinkets used in the sims?

I have a 870 Arcanocrystal and I'm wondeing if my heroic non-WF heroic erratic metronome is better. I'm going to sim it to find out but would still like to know the answer .

He's saying the penalty for not being very good at frost is too high compared to the penalty of not being very good in fire.

Frost is actually performing quite well if you play well, but it should be way higher considering how penalizing it is to be subpar at it.

I've been using a /stopcasting /cast blink macro for as long as I can remember. Only recently, while reading about the legendary bracers rotation, someone on this forum mentioned you could blink during your pyroblast cast and keep casting.

If you have a RoP to spare when bindings proc, use it first. If you don't it's still always worth it to hardcast Pyro even without buffs. From my experience at least.

RoP Crits should net you in the 2.25-2.5M range.

The only thing I can't quite figure out at the moment is how to make sure you can get the benefit from Pyretic Incantation as it's a 5 second buff.

You can always Fireblast mid-cast to refresh pyretics incantation if it's about to drop.

Additionally, shimmer doesn't cancel your cast.

Holy crap I feel dumb right now... I've been using a /stopcasting macro with blink for years and was not aware of this. A minute of silence please for all the dps I lost due to me not reading a tooltip.

The way I see it, this legendary would simply make scorch a less of a DPS loss during movement. Below 25% boss health, you could simply cast scorch on the move instead of icy floes + fireball.

Otherwise I think this legendary is simply a stat stick.

So what should we be using as food buff? The sims in the original post seem to indicate that felmouth frenzies are better than 125 stats food by a very little margin, but I'm honestly not sure since the robomage uses 125 stats not the fish. Moreover, I've asked this in another topic but I don't know...

I don't know if this has been asked or tested but does the proc from the felmouth frenzy fish trigger the doom nova explosion?

One more thing i don't think has been mentioned: don't wait to have 4 stacks of arcane blast to cast supernova. SN benefits from your mastery but doesn't benefit from arcane blast stacks. Try to get two charges up for PC but otherwise just use them at maximum mana.

From the comments I read in this topic it seems like it's much harder to reproduce with the no channelling macro. Shouldn't we be using that macro anyway? That's what I use and I've never seen that problem myself.
