I ask because going on tooltips alone:
Pyro does 149k
DB w/ Leggo does 173-201k

DB doesn't give ignite, but I wasn't sure if the extra flat damage from the DB would warrant replacing a pyro with it. I'm not entirely sure how I could sim that sort of thing.

It doesn't proc all that often. Plus there are other trinkets with raw int/higher crit on it.

Mastery has typically been regarded as one of frost's less handy stats.

Multistrike is always a safe bet, the other 3 don't matter -as- much I would say.

The new arcane mastery sounds extremely stupid. Why do I need more mana if I no longer gain damage based on mana %?

I'm not sure I agree with the conical supernova, since it's supposed to be like.. an area of effect explosion as per it's name. Melee arcane sounds intriguing though.

I'd be inclined to say frost would win out for consistent cleave, unless you get wildly lucky with doom nova procs as arcane. Do Haste and Unstable Magic only become best stat and best talent once you get the 2 and 4-set bonuses or are they best even before that? I'm not sure if this has been noticed yet - but I took a gander at the Unblinking Gaze of Sethe, and it appears to have a different PPM for arcane, as opposed to every other spec/class that can use it.

3.00 + Haste vs everyone else's 5.00 + Haste.
