Ok, so basically in case you're at 4 FoF and 2 BF; FoF (FB+IL) gets prio over BF, but as soon as FoF's are less than 4, that second BF gets priority, right?

I have the same "problem". got 2-piece T18 and just got the tome trinket. Replaced the mythic crucible and now sims slightly lower dps.

Is 4-piece really the one and only simple answer or is something wrong in the simcraft 620-02?

I got Haste=Mastery>Multi>crit>Vers

What also happened was that Frost came out higher than Arcane on ST, som I'm going full frost until further notice

I'm a novice at simcraft, but my results indicate that it's generally not worth breaking the 4p T17 until it can be replaced with 2p T18. Sims are done on my char (ilvl 698) in Arcane spec. I have all T17 in heroic only and experimented on swapping the tier legs to an item with better secondary stat...

Turning the same question around a bit: When is it worth to break 4 and even 2-piece T17 with non-tier pieces?

For example, crafted gear is 715. Say Robes+Legs in 715 must beat keeping 4-piece T17H, right?
But is Mythic non-tier ilvl 700 better than Heroic tier (685)? Is 695?

My char i pretty multistrike heavy, maybe thats why?

Considering the short kill times in SoO atm there are fights where I will be able to pop MI once, but not twice (although close to twice sometimes). Did anyone do the math on which talent is best depending on kill times? For example, on a 40-50 s fight MI is obviously king, so also on 2:45-3min figh...

If it actually does happen once or twice a fight I guess that means windsong is more valuable than jade spirit for Frost and Arcane as well right?

Is there any haste soft caps?
I notice the SimC frost mage template uses around 43 % haste, with stat weights at 9,15 mastery vs 6,90 haste. But if I set AMR at a simple crit to cap>mastery>haste rule I get a haste value being way much lower than that.
