Interesting you say less punishing.. I would argue the opposite.. with a longer combustion and more of them per fight.. you have to be super on point with timings and mechanics to make sure you fit in as many combustions with as many procs as possible into the fight window... previously it mattered ...

barely looks like fire changed at all .. wonder if it's still coming.. barrage looks fantastic now

sims are agreeing with this even with tier 19 nerfs .. until you have 3 pieces of titanforged tier 20 it seems 2+2 is best and if your tier 19 are already titanforged then it sounds like u have a hard time ever giving them up (of course it could change going into live)

yes interestingly enough a krosus machine learning sim gear setup on amr kicks up 2x2 piece keeping kilt and shard as the bis setup.. even if the tier 19 is base ilvl.. I was rather surprised.. of course they don't have new ring or shoulders in yet

At this point if your playing the game and not just logging in for raid you should be well on your way to having ALL legendaries not just the fire ones. The game has finally come to a point with tomb where we can easily swap between all 3 specs I fully expect to have 52 in all 3 weapons and 18 legen...

the problem is that quest chain starts at akazamzarak next to your class hall mission map and he doesn't have a ! like he should... no one seems to be able to tell me why... maybe it is indeed a random chance.. as always rng sucks the fun out of the game

frost is definitely more fickle than fire when it comes to latency but only a 20ms difference shouldn't see any significant change ... I think you might notice a difference every 100ms or so and definitely somewhere around the 300ms mark the spec breaks down altogether and basic shattering no longer...

Hi I just got belt today and had assumed I would add it to my mythic+ gearing immediately. But after spending a little time with the computer I am a thoroughly confused by both simcraft and amr telling me to stick with bracers and ring (shard). I understand frost for raid but am finding mythic+ lege...

I don't have any starting quest either and I've had flying for 4 days... I let all my followers come back from quests, tried changing specs, reloaded ui .. pretty much anything I could think of. There must be some hidden prerequisite I haven't done.

I was actually thinking about loot speccing arcane because fire has already been No.1 and now frost is. So my guess is 7.2.5 brings arcane to No.1

yeah it means my dps swings wildly depending on how my internet feels that day and what server i'm shoved on... doesn't feel good when fire is no longer a choice at all but at least in that spec I lose 50k dps max

actually at just over 250ms many of the FIRST ice lances don't crit so you don't do 750k at all it drops to at least 650 mostly below 600.. and most flurries won't shatter either

The problem is that the spec as a whole and especially double ice lance is too latency reliant. When servers give 13ms one day then 250ms and 800ms the next and you can parse at 850k with 13ms but only 550k with 250ms something needs to be fixed

I'm finding pre pot prolonged power and combat pot deadly grace to be the best option on many fights (not all) as you often want a big burst at some moment or as fights get shorter (like when doing a difficulty step down for your gear) 2 prolonged powers lined up with cd's means left over pot time

I have almost exactly the same issue as you illwill. But my mythic + buds are a havoc demon hunter and a frost death knight so I still get destroyed in raid every fight and at the same time told I'm third dps get over it! I put in exactly as much time and effort and perform at the same purple/orange...

it seems to be tied to latency.. high latency cause your on the wrong server type means more chance it won't cast
