My 900 whispers is less then a 10k dps increase over my 900 plus socket stargate. I'd say use it on any fight with consistent aoe. I need to test it out as fire though since I've been playing frost and it's obviously a bigger increase there.

Why do you need to wait for the Meteor GCD to finish before combusting?

because if you dont have a heating up and you use combustion during the GCD then you miss out on a split second of combust before you can cast PF

There may be a minimum haste when it becomes viable, because to use 40% of combust on that one cast is a bit excessive.

well when it's worth 4 pyroblasts it's kinda worth it in that sense. especially if it frees up some phoenix flames and fire blasts
