Using blizzard while orb is out is only worthwhile if you are using belt leggo (and have 5 stacks) or there are 2+ targets.

To not munch the proc with the gloves, you need to Ebon -> Flurry -> Ice Lance -> Icy Veins (while the IL is traveling to the boss). Also keep in mind that the gloves are pretty garbage right now, especially if you have any combo of helm/bracers/tw ring.

Its reasonable that we will still be able to hit GS crits that high even with the fix. I had a 45mil GS last night in +5 BRH after getting 4 frostbolt flurries in a row before a flurry GS.

On ST you only want to be casting it at 5 stacks

But I would say most likely the 905 droplet. Once you get to +3 or 4 ilvl the trait matters less than the ilvl.

Is AG or UM better for HC Bot? I also have leggo belt but don't think that factors in too much.

I'd try both out and see what works better in a real scenario. BC can be nice for some NH fights (and most trash in both raids and M+) because the pet freeze gives multiple FoF procs every ~25sec.

Yeah frost will definitely out dps fire in pure ST without any spec specific legendaries. AoE can be a different story, but once you get used to/good at frost AoE I haven't seen that large of a difference.

I have been playing frost all expansion and really enjoy it. Can be a challenging spec to play optimally so there is always something to improve on. Also IMO the easiest spec to do solo content with due to all the slows/freezes. Try frost out on some heroics and see how it feels.

I personally find that I do the lowest DPS when I am running RoP with frost. Try out IF or MI and see if that helps at all. Other than that the rotation sounds good to me.

Sorry my response may have been misleading. It is definitely possible to reach 400k DPS single target with frost, but you need to be close to 880 to achieve it. You should be able to get close to or break 300k pure single target at your ilvl. If cleave or AoE is involved you should be able to hit 40...

Even if you are playing Frost perfectly, 400k sustained DPS isn't reasonable to expect at your ilvl for pure single target.
