Re: Path of Exile

Played it a long long time ago, but I hated the "talent point" system in it as when you designed a spec, you weren't going to try anything else and kinda had to cookiecutter your way to stuff. Also didn't like the combat system as a spell caster.. it just was off for me personally. Though I think it...

Re: Hearthstone

Yeah that kinda of start is really annoying against anyone.. But realisticly Rogue is the only 1 who can deal with that on turn 3 by using deadly poison + Blade flurry. And shammy can hex, also druid can innervate swipe. My best turn 2 has been double innervate Sunwalker, though I've done the same o...

Re: Hearthstone

It is pretty similar to every other card game out there.. main difference just is that it has a ramping mana system from 1 from first turn to max of 10 adding 1 each turn. And minions have a certain mana cost. Mostly it just comes down to math and solving best options and predicting what the opponen...

Re: Steam & Other Sales

I bought so much during the Summer Sale of 2012 that I didn't even buy anything during last years summer sale. And unless some stuff goes up for REALLY cheap, I don't know that I'll be buying anything from this years Summer Sale either. I'll be keeping an eye on things like always though... Dailies...

I did play one of the first if not the first and maybe the second as well.. They are cool games overall, just not my cup of tea.

Re: The E3 thread

Yeah, I will defo play Grim Fandango. What comes to RPG's yes Witcher is coming. But Dragon Age has to prove itself for me, Bioware just hasn't made a truly epic game since Dragon Age Origins.. 1 could argue ME2 was epic, but for me it was a step back from being a true RPG when comparing to ME1. But...

Re: The E3 thread

Honestly, nobody "won". They were all pretty decent, exept EA's precentation was hilariously bad.. But still nothing truly amazing, at least for EU residents. We got games everybody expected and that was kinda it. I mean sure the remastered Grim Fandango sounds great, but I've played that game so ma...

Re: Speed test thread!

The main issue is Time Warner Cable >< They are so unreliable Mm.. I don't think I could bare to live with unstable connections. I personally am quite lucky with my connection and ISP.. My ping is almost always next to nothing from my end and the net has been down maybe 3 or 4 times the past year a...

Re: When did you begin playing a mage?

Hmm hmm.. the launch for EU WoW was early 2005 if am not mistaken.. But I did start as a Fury Warrior first.. Yes I levelled a fury warrior to 60 without arms or prot :D And it took like a month or so. Looking back must have been the fastest pure Fury to level in early vanilla :D Then I was like fuc...

Re: [Transmog] Robe or tunic? Red or blue?

Sadly cant post a screenshot due frozen account, but I mostly rolled with ToT heroic tier before my gametime ran out.

Generally I do like robes and more towards blue/"arcane", though red has potential to be awesome as well, just almost never works for Mages.

Re: Official Music Thread

I don't think my music taste comes as a huge surprise to anyone, but I shall link a "few" :D With games though, I tend to stay with the electronic route. During fights though, I tend to shut everything off or fairly low. QJSZiJBm2yY X2zySjlVeXI 6Yinw2zjVm8 qevs15TW_gE dEn_Qq5EMmc j7FdkYoy0PI d8o3oAt...

Re: The big audiophile topic

Funny thing is those Denons were designed in Japan, manufactured in China, mailed to the USA, then exported to you. So the only role the US had in this was collecting tax money so a dude in Finland could buy a Japanese product. Ha. Nah they were modded in US, so kinda was logical to buy them from t...

Re: The big audiophile topic

Sadly I have no money/room for big ass soundsystems, so the past 4-5 years I've been using me headphones.. and those are somewhat modded(new pads, and retuned) Denon AH-D2000. Costed me around 400 euros(inc taxes) + shipment from US to Finland.

Re: AMD vs. Intel/nvidia

Mm, on the desktop CPU side sadly there's no real competition at all. And sadly that won't change in quite a while with AMD announcing them focusing on other things for now at least. On GPU side I've always been rooting for ATI/AMD and I will probably never stray away again unless something really b...
