since you have wrought/dogs/allure all happening in a quick timeframe. This happened to me too. We are 3 healing so... Should I not take the risk and just block if this happens? Although I could try alter time, and not waste any dps but by this time we are heading into P3 and gotta save alter time ...

What about the twisting nether phase, i use alter time for mark soaking, ginvis/iceblock used for anything else?

Don't use greater invis for chains, aggro drops like G invis auto-break chains which is basically a guaranteed wipe unless everyone has moved out of your chain.

AHHH yes this kept killing me was wondering why. So do i want to use any defensive when breaking chains or just walk/blink out of them?

So do people not usually take ice floes on this fight?

We just got mythic manno down and moving on to archi. I was wondering what are some mage specific tips for use on mythic archimonde? We are going to attempt the 1 doomfire strat as our class line up is pretty good with burst. But beyond that what else should I be doing?

Is arcane orb really any better than PC though? Have yet to see any other mage use it.

So, its only better when there is a cleave target?

You can kill it with any mage spec, but Arcane or Frost are better suited for progression.

what does frost excel at for progression?

Did I read correctly in this thread that fire is better on mythic archimonde?

I mean at this point in the game with everyone so geared and insane rings it's not going to matter much is it?

Is there a macro or something people would use when you got the crystal down but mark of doom is on the boss as well? Seems like alot of switching back and forth i gotta do in such of a small window i might be losing dps, especially with a terrible connection i got.

It does seem clunky indeed. Sometimes i dont have time to finish off with a frostbolt > IL so i gotta just ice lance in the last moment. But its DPS is not too shabby.

Why was TV better again? Do you get extra seconds if ice lance hits the second target?

Ok so from what I was reading, class trinket and PoF, you start with 2x arcane blasts (though not sure if pom is counted here).

Now what happens next in regards to crystal? If mark proc'd on boss and if it didn't?

With class trinket,4pc and frost, do you wanna still do weaving on a target that has to die right now?

And in a normal scenario, if you still have finger of frost stacks up while orb or jet is coming off cooldown, do you dump them without weaving or just continue as normal?

So some reason my addons shat itself or corrupted or god knows what, all i know is all my weak auras dissapeared and i never backed up >< Anyway, im looking for a particular setup. I am not sure where i grabbed the string from i cant remember but if it looks familiar to you and you know the weak aur...

What are the recommended lvl 75 and lvl 100 talents for frost on each encounter? I have some idea, but im not too familiar with all the encounters yet.

It lines up perfect with our other major CDs but most, if not all fights its recommended to glyph it.

Why is this?

The other mage in my raid team is still going mastery, even with the new 2 pc and is getting much better dps, while mine seems to have dropped since dropping mastery.

I'm at 699 ilvl and i don't think its enough yet to switch stat priority right now.

Whats everyone's thoughts on this?
