Without raid buffs you're missing out on Pyroblast Multistrikes which add in to making a huge Combustion. 4.5k is about the highest I've seen by myself on a training dummy.

I would run a sim, as you're only upgrading one piece from reg to heroic. AMR will generate SimC profiles for each setup without having to actually change your gear.

Our Shadow Priest was doing something similar last night using Twist of Fate and taking all of his gear off until just before the pull so he'd have it up at the start.

I haven't looked this up yet but it sounds a lot like AudioSurf.

I guess I misunderstood the 0.25s delay on removing Heating Up that allows you to use Inferno Blast as a travel time.

Scorch has no travel time in SimC. Trying to use it with pyro camping in simulations is nontrivial.

Is there a technical reason for this? I understood it to have a 0.25s travel time in practice.

Your combustion damage was lower overall in the second week because you had far fewer ticks, even though they were larger. Your 3:40 log only has two uses of Combustion and the 4:09 has three.

As for the difference in the peak, the dogs died roughly 8 seconds faster, lowering your initial burst.

Short version, 15832 is a great build for NT, and is almost immeasurably weaker on single target fights, where you still use Living Bomb.
