Your Cinderstorm did 4 million damage during the fight.... if you used Kindling, you'd probably do more dps with the mini burns.

Definately use the 880 Relic, due to the extra stats it gives you in general.

880 Relic is also Mythic Raid or M+10 level, you'll not see another one in a while.

Nevermind me; looks like WoWlogs tend to undervalue the relics... Anyway, it's all about the RoP management when your initial combust is used. Always use your second RoP whenever you have the chance... this boils down to knowing how the fight works so you can fit the RoP when possible. Also try not ...

Seriously going to give this a try...

There are times during RoP where you end up with a instant pyro, but you're still casting fireball + pyro rotation (especially when you just finished a fireball + pyro and it double crit; giving you another instant pyro)

Don't do this during RoP; as soon as pyro is instant, use it.

I'm keeping Conflag, living bomb and Cinderstorm for now... works very well in Mythic dungeons; and from the looks of Emerald Nightmare there's going to be adds. Mage's trash dps falls off real quick without the above talents. I might drop conflag for the extra 8% hot streak chance but I'll see how ...

To maximise your dps for any particular trash mob; cast Ice Flows just as the tank is about to pull, and start casting ROP when you're running BEHIND the mobs (so when you PF + cinderstorm, you don't pull other trash). Cinderstorm is the greatest concern when doing trash... as it can fly off and agg...

I don't use Flamestrike at all. I'm also considering -not- getting the flamestrike artifact unlock because my current AOE rotation nearly rivals the Demon Hunter trash dps.
