I have no idea how to find your # of 2 piece stacks throughout the fight on WoL

If you go to the buffs gained tab and click the # at the end of the row for the buff it'll bring up a pseudo-graph of it that you can check the stack count with.

And I die 75% of the time cause of it

I did the 2million ignite on 11k mastery, with mage armor and crit banner.

It sucks having no warrior friends or friends with warrior alts to use for crit banner. -_-

Highest I managed on the dummies in Shrine was a 1.24m Ignite. Having trouble repeating that though, most of the time I end up in the 800k-900k range. I'm only at 10.5k Mastery though and can only get to 10.7k Mastery in my current gear if I tried to go all out on it(probably going to do that tonigh...

How are you guys getting such high Combustions? The biggest I have ever seen is with a 600k Ignite. Surely the running in tactic to get 5 Pyros in to the Ignite is not going to add 50%? That would work, though I'm not sure why you'd want to use a speed boost with an ability that puts you back where you started at the end.

The point is to fit in as many pyro's in as short of a period as possible to game the ignite mechanic to achieve higher Combustions.

I actually saw my BBoY bug out on me during Heroic farm this week and it somehow held itself at 10 stacks after my AT ended instead of resetting back to it's original stack. IIRC neither of the 2 pieces he had available to swap had crit either, which would REALLY make it not worth the swap.

As already stated, all 3 specs perform quite well at the moment so play what you're more comfortable/better with. My guild runs with a Mage of each spec, and we're all pretty close DPS wise, with certain fights being more beneficial to certain specs(Fire on H Protectors and H Shamans OM NOM NOM).
