You're far safer using Clarity stage 4 after patch with a Normal BRF trinket.

I'm in a pretty casual raid group, so I might not be the best mage to judge performance.

With that said, most of the time I'm solidly in the middle, behind the hunters, but ahead of the shammies and locks and pallies. Our raid is pretty cool with what you play, as long as you don't suck.

Why i think so is because the sheer contribution combustion makes to your dps is astonishing.

Combustion makes up about 8-11% of my total damage, and maybe a bit more on Tectus.
Not sure that counts as "sheer contribution".

Patch 6.1 also brings us 125 stat food, boosting the relative rank of the Pandaren racial.

I actually like the Glyph of Ignite changes. I use Frostfire Bolt when questing(mostly for the Slow) and Fireball when Raiding, and sometimes I forget to change the keybinds when i remove the glyph. There were a lot of wtf moments wondering why my FFB was casting so slow.

I would say 2500 is low though, I get that from just lobbing a single Pyroblast. It does depend on gear though. For you to get a 2500 ignite tick from a single Pyroblast, you'd need a really high mastery % With my gear (642), i only get around 25% mastery, which means that my pyroblast needs to hit...

AFAIK, ignite munching hasn't been a thing for a long time.

I usually do wait until I get a Pyro proc, then Fireball -> Meteor -> Pyro, which would get me a relative nice ignite. If anymore Pyro procs within that, all the more better.

It should be easier to get pyro chains with the Fire buffs.
