Edited the guide a bit. Cut out a lot of Warlords of Draenor stuff, added some Legion stuff.

The majority of Conflagration's damage does not come from Fireball, but rather the Flare Up which Ignite can trigger.

There is no significant crit cap right now. Get as much as you can without skimping much on itemlevel etc.

Right you are. It appears to have been hotfixed as well.

Fire Blast doesn't cancel Hot Streak. However, the Flamestrike casted by Tome of Shifting Words will consume Hot Streak for the double Ignite damage if you've got it.

Edict of Argus with Mark of the Thunderlord will likely be better, but you'll have to sim it to confirm.

Adding to that, the concept of BiS items is quickly becoming quite outdated with the titanforged system. The drastic (random) increase in itemlevels will often trump any kind of beneficial secondary stat distribution on items that would typically be considered BiS before this system was introduced.

Initially gems were too strong in the beta, going as high as +1800 to a secondary stat. +200 on WoD gems wasn't *that* out of place when it was like that. Now, however, with Legion gems being 150/250, having WoD ones be 200 would be downright silly. That is why they were changed back to the original...
