I prefer performance boxer briefs. Moisture wicking, don't ride up, don't pinch the satchel, while still breathable. Like a second skin. I have to credit Akraen for converting me from normal cotton boxer briefs.

I own a variety of types. I have some compression boxer-briefs for trail running, boxer-briefs, a variety of types of briefs for chinos and slim jeans. Absolutely nobody is going to believe me on this, but this thong is the most comfortable underwear I've ever worn. First off, my fear of that strap up the crack... completely unnecessary fear. Don't even feel it at all and it doesn't rub up against anything. The fabric is so damn soft, especially on the inside of the pouch.

It's liberating and primal, since it's a string it doesn't pull the pouch tight, which means my dangly bits are contained but free to move about the cabin-- in other words, nothing is spilling out, but there's air getting in and it's comfortable. I don't feel like a gay sex god or 80's pornstar like thongs imply... instead I feel like I'm in some ancient tribe but with awesome modern cloths.

No, ladies, you won't get a pic of me wearing it. That'd be all over the internet before I could stop it.

Anyway, if you're interested in #smashingbarriers, order one. For how cheap they are on ebay... why not. Don't even have to admit to it, I'll handle that for you since my internet image is all kinds of fucked anyway.

I'll admit, I like a good comfy pair of undergarments. Not sure how I'd like a string up my ass but for the price of those why the hell not?

Glad someone is willing to step outside definitions other people make for you. It's tough finding ones that aren't designed to be sexy/whatever. CK, Papi, and Ergowear make good ones for every-day normal wear. Can order those on Amazon.

Well I think I'm converted fully now, got a week's worth, going to put the boxer-briefs in the rarely used drawer. Why have our last couple generations wanted so much cloth?
