Unread postby Purpl Tue Feb 13, 2018 12:23 am

Hello!

I feel like i have some issues with fire, cant really get the dps out of it that im supposed to, i have BiS legendarys good relics and stats.

I have been trying to look at logs myself but i cant figure out what im doing wrong.

If anyone have the time and want to take a look at my logs and se if they can findout what im doing wrong i would really apreciate it.

I ran your Garothi log through wowanalyzer (https://wowanalyzer.com/report/fXpGW9Cr3gbvYaZM/1/15) and found a few things that you can improve on.

Keep in mind your bracer procs were really low for that length of fight. Average for that length should be around 12 or so, but you only had 6.

Major point from the basic analysis in that link:
1. You missed one Combustion. You could have used it 4 times, but only used it 3 times.
2. You spent almost 1/4 of the fight not casting anything. Plan our your movement and use shimmer as much as possible to get around so you can keep casting.
3. Make sure to bank your Phoenix Flames charged for Combustion. You want to go into Combustion with at least 2 charges of both Fire Blast and Phoenix Flames so that you can get as many pyros in your Combustion as possible. It seems like you’re using Phoenix Flames as a way to have instants while moving to do mechanics, which is fine but try not to use so many, especially if you don’t have heating up already.
4. Wearing the Lust Ring means you need to use it. Otherwise, what’s the point? Since you’re listing at the end of the fight, the ring immediately loses value since you’re likely not able to get your second lust to line up with Combustion again, so you may want to opt for the Belt on this fight.

Those are just a few things I noticed after a relatively short look, but it should give you a few angles to look at to improve your damage.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tip, going to use wow analyzer a bit more and see if that help. Thanks for taking your time. :D
