Haste>MS as soon as T18 2PC or no?

The other mage in my raid team is still going mastery, even with the new 2 pc and is getting much better dps, while mine seems to have dropped since dropping mastery.

I'm at 699 ilvl and i don't think its enough yet to switch stat priority right now.

Whats everyone's thoughts on this?

I did that and now I'm going back to mastery. simulations say that I should get better dps with haste build but wow disagrees. I will try haste build when I have trinket+4PC.

I may be nitpicking, but in the future, you may want to refer to mastery as either mastery, or MA for short. MS is generally accepted as the abbreviated form of multistrike.

You need to hit 1300 Haste for it to be worth it (have you tried changing gems and enchants).

I think I might have too much haste for my item level. At iLevel 705 with the 125 Haste food, I can get 1842 (20.47%) Rating, before being raid buffed.

This is with my enchants being Haste, so raid buffed that would put me at the aggressive gearing breakpoint, but I've just got 2643 Mastery (after Arcane passive buffs).

I was wondering if I went overboard and I should switch my armor and weapon enchants back to mastery for now, since I could still be well past the 1300 point breakpoint.
