I recently picked up Fire and am severely underperforming (especially in comparison to our other mage).

It would be greatly appreciated if you looked at all the fights. On Malkorok I fucked up greatly as I clicked by mistake a sha blob and combusted that, right after I had build a huge ignite on Malkorok.
You can go as advanced as you want (That is basically a way for me to tell you you can bash me as hard as you want)
Gearing Wise I know there isn't really a consensus what Fire is concerned. I went for Crit > Haste to 10300 > Mastery > Haste post 10300

You're removing PBOI sometimes (like on iron juggernaut) by not cancelling alter time. Use /cancelaura alter time if PBOI procs in it.

You should line up combustion with PBOI or other big trinket procs, you're not doing this sometimes, leading to smaller combustions. Your non opener combustions are like 10-25k , which is super low.

For some reason you decided to use combustion on the shredder on siegecrafter while he was taking 90% reduced damage?

Other than that, it seems like you're not getting enough pyros equivelant to your crits, which means you may not be reacting fast enough to fireball crits to follow it up with IB, or you're not camping pyros properly. Make sure you hold onto your pyro proc until you got a HU and fireball is in the air, unless you're going for a combustion pyro spam or you're on 3+ stacks of 2pc and it's about to run out.

Make a mental note about it, pyro camp. Focus on it, be on time with IB, and make sure you spread ignite/pyro dot as often as possible on fights where possible.
