Mod Edit: Moved to Q&A
Hey fellas, I just changed from fire to frost recently and I'm having a little trouble understanding the Chain Reaction trait. It stacks 3 times, giving me a total of 60% extra damage on my ice lances, so I check the damage of a non-proced ice lance with 3 stacks of chain reaction and its not even 100k. So, I guess my question is how do I actually utilize the chain reaction buff? Do I fish for it while I have Ice Lance procs(Fingers of Frost)? I'm noticing(I think) that when I have 3 stacks of chain reaction+ a FoF proc, it goes from around 220k to 300k+. Is this the correct way to use Chain Reaction? By fishing for the buff to use FoF procs on?

Re: Chain Reaction help!
Yes.
My understanding is that the management of your FoF w.r.t the Chain Reaction count is what separates the good frost mages from the great ones.
