[Fire] Need help with low parsing on H NH 902 ilvl

I'm really not sure why I'm parsing so low compared to the other mage in my guild, I'm Processes in these logs and I think my gear is decent enough to where I should be able to parse well - so I believe it's a mechanical issue that can be corrected. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

bumping. any help at all would be appreciated, I really am working to parse higher - I'm stuck in the purple ranges and am trying to constantly parse orange but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

12 ilvl difference in weapon and different choices and about 3k int difference. when int reigns as number 1 in 7.1.5, its a big deal to have 3k difference. in this log specifically, you choose flame patch but flame patch did 0 damage on botanist. idk if it's a warcraftlogs problem or a you problem but i'd look into it. also 3+min fight and only 3 casts of scorch and 13 casts of cinderstorm. why take gear/talents and not use them effectivly.


i checked mythic tril where you played frost and racialist played fire. he just has better positioning. soaked bombs that are in range of the boss, whereas you soaked bombs opposite of boss and had less uptime on damage.


helm and belt for fire = more consistant damage with less rng factored into gameplay with bracers.


imo just watch replays of fights @ 2x speed, you can follow what the other mage is doing - positioning/casts etc. monkey see monkey do at this point.
