Flame patch best in Nighthold?

Looking at Warcraftlogs - Flame Patch is better than Living Bomb and Unstable Magic for nearly every boss.

How so? Should I pick this talent for NH? Does it require a certain playing style?

How would one play Flame Patch on a boss like High Botanist?

I haven't played with flamepatch much, but the gist is you drop flamestrikes instead of pyroblasts when you know the boss isn't going to move for 8s. if you think the tanks are going to move the boss, like on botanist, you cast pyroblast instead. perhaps someone with a bit more knowledge can weigh in on pyroblast vs. flamestrike during combustion. you also might want to search the forum. I know there's been a decent amount of discussion about this, especially for the botanist fight.
