Fire and Frost

I have read this website for a long time but this is my first post. I play both fire and frost during raids. I play fire for trash and for bosses that have adds. I play frost for ST bosses. I have pretty much gotten what gear I need for frost. My question is about trinkets for fire AoE. I know about the spreadsheet but I assume it is made for ST in mind. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... =279467084

What trinket is best for fire AoE? I use KJBW legendary as one of my trinkets. Thank you.

There is never a pure AOE fight except trash (maybe also Mistress has almost always adds up)

For the rest of the boss fights that have some adds during the fight your legendaries for fire should be the helm and the wrists or belt to balance a bit of ST with AOE.

As for trinkets I use the sentinel medallion with the Burning sky for AOE (if you can get it at a decent ilvl) ....KJBW sits very nicely on my bank from the moment i got it..sims never showed it was worth it even when setting HecticAddCleave on the settings

This is a very good question that doesn't seem to have a clear answer at the moment.

From what I've heard and seen in logs (don't have it myself yet) the Spectral Thurible from Desolate Host is apparently doing some pretty crazy numbers. Although it has versatility on it, the damage from the proc seems to match or even surpass what Fury of the Burning Sky is doing. That being said, mastery is just too good for fire AOE to take anything else.

I'd probably sim the trinkets you are considering and then compare the results for your current gear. KJBW probably won't make the cut though, not because it's a bad trinket but because it takes up a legendary slot.

I simmed it on raidbots. The results were a little surprising to me. The Koralon's belt and Thurible combo came out on top with my current set up 5th. Since I do not have Koralon's belt yet, I will switch out KJBW once I get it. I copied my sim information below. This leads to another question about relics. I was planning on a Blue Flame x2 and Everburning x1 set up. But with this sim I am not sure that is the best set up. I will run new sims using Koralon's belt and Thurible and see what relics are best. Thank you.
