DPS Loss after Acquiring Leggo

So I got the frost bracers and when I sim my characters for dps upgrades, I'm about 300k less then the sim. I only noticed this after I got the bracers, and I think its cause after 3 casts of Frost Bolt I cast an Ice Lance to keep stacks, regardless of having Fingers or Brain Freeze (if I do have Brain Freeze I use that instead). Should I try and not keep stacks up?

Yeah, dont do that. No point its a dps loss

Yeah like he said never cast dry ice lances just to maintain buff its a big dps loss. You could cast dry ice lances if you have to move with a debuff or something but never in your normal rotation
