do we have a new opener or is it still Pot-eb-tv-fluirry-il-orb-il-fb?
I see top parsing people using all different kinds of openers and SImc does not use the above one as well. Any Hhelp?

The opener has been the same all throughout Legion, it's the one you posted.
The difference between the openers is generally very small, so it doesn't affect the parses as much as you'd think. And simc does a different opener for a different reason, it just can't simulate pre-combat moves accurately.

Tbh if i am standing at decent range from boss...i always cast orb, then frostbolt followed by proc'ed ice lance.Reason is the Orb travel time to target.
But any opener is good.They don't bring that much to overall dps
