Are Netherlight Crucible traita random?

Just a simple question I'm assuming. Are the traits for relics when you put them in The netherlight Crucible randomized or are they always the same per relic?

For example, if I got the same Frost Relic off the same Boss 3 times and put each of those three in The netherlight Crucible, would the traits on all three be the same because they are the same Relic, or would they be randomized?
