Gearing and Stat Weight Advice?

What do you use to help with gearing and stat weights? I've been using AskMrRobot, but I noticed my gear stats are completely different than the top performing logs I'm seeing posted here. Has AskMrRobot been steering me wrong?

My rankings are really low and despite all the warcraftlogs/wowanalyzer reviewing, watching videos, multiple rotation guides, weakaura helpers, and upgrading to a gaming mouse, I just can't seem to improve.

AMR is not as reliable as Simming your character and using raidbots and simulationcraft addon imo. I realize your post here is almost 2 months old , have you managed to get any help yet / improve? feel free to post some combat logs which is probably the best way to get great advice here.
