Help me sim correctly gear and talents combo

Hello there! I am trying to find the best combination between gear and talents so my question is:

if I sim talents and it takes into consideration my equipped gear (like "for your equipped gear the best talents are bla bla bla") and vice-versa for gear considering selected talents ("for these selected talents the best gear to use is bla bla bla") which is the order in which you should make the sims to get the best possible combination between talents and gear ?
