Interpretating a log / Fire Mage / Ignite Damage / Int Amount

Unread postby qivive Sat Feb 03, 2018 10:54 am

Hello,

I tried to compare a Antoran high command log with one of my kills and I have noticed 2 major differences (I've looked for same ilvl, fight length, bracer procs etc.): These are: most of the time good logs have 10k+ Intellect, plus they're Ignite is way higher (not just because of massive more mastery!).

Some say, that massive Int values come from the weapon but the one of the comparable log isnt even higher than mine (984, mine 985). What mystery is this?

My log:
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/M6 ... &source=19

Comparable Log:
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/Mt ... &source=25

Also: The intellect value displayed on the character screen does not seem to be a mere sum ob (BASE Int + all gear pieces). There is a difference of roughly 3k int remaining that the character screen is showing. Where do they come from? Did you check your main stat sum yourself sometime?

Thanks for any advice.

Q.

Edit: One thing I've figured out is, that the other raids admiral pod did only half the damage our did. So, basically adds live longer and will ofc take more ignite damage. So is this a padding scenario after all? I've checked one of Dylemmas logs on this fight: on a HC their damage to shocktrooper was dominated by players rather than the pod.

there was a bug that made our ignite tick for twice its damage...
it has now been fixed.
