Crack my logs

Hey guys,

I've been unhappy with my DPS for most of the expansion - I rarely break into the top five spots on the damage meter, and more often I hover towards the bottom, aside from the brief shining period where I could abuse double Ice Lance.

The issue is particularly noticeable on Kin'garoth, where I just don't feel like I can stand still and DPS long enough to make a difference. Our Arcane Mage, OTOH, has no such problems (he's also, if I'm honest, a better player than I am).

I'd love someone better with logs than me to have a look and tell me what I'm doing wrong, because as far as I know I'm playing well. Here's a log of yesterday's raid, with multiple Kin'garoth wipes (using Prydaz, not Shard) and one kill (some wipes attempted as Arcane), and a Varimathras kill.

P.S. Yes, I'm a mod and I'm asking for help. I'm not a theorycrafter like Frosted, Komma et al - I know the theory but I'm terrible at analysing logs. Obviously, if I knew where I was going wrong I wouldn't be asking!

Simply saying.
If you want more dps on Kingaroth, you should have your CDs rdy for every add spawn time (or at least almost ready which means to have it off CD within 4-5 sec when adds appear).
If you want more dps on Varimathras, you can delay some of your procs when the shadow is about to spawn.

PS. make sure you EB always crits.
