[Frost] Raid DPS too low, logs provided

So I've always considered myself to be a decent mage, however of late my numbers have been really low on most bosses. I know the basics of the rotation, don't munch more than 2-3 procs on a long fight, and dont sit on 2 charges of nova unless i know an add is coming out or something.

I was wondering if any of you folks could look over my logs and point out what I'm doing wrong. I fully understand that the other mage (FanofKnives) is 6 ilvls and a good weapon above me, but I fail to see how that can make such a big difference in numbers.

Well first and foremost he's playing with the best enchants/gems while you play with the cheap ones. That's one culprit, then it also comes down to things like how much are you able to cleave on the Kargath tiger as opposed to him, how much can you cleave off on Imperator adds etc etc.

Since there's a bunch of different adds on Mar'gok I'm not going to link them all, but you got the general idea. Focus more on playing according to the boss and not so much single-target the boss. Line up Nova's with cleave and dump FoF's + IV glyph on adds within the boss's vicinity. If you can send a log from a boss like Butcher that'd be better to analyze pure single-target damage difference between you two.
