Why does RNG hate me this much?

This is not a technical post (though any technical help will still be appreciated), I'm just here to whine and seek for /pat.

30 minutes ago, when I was killing a boss in SoO (10N) with the guild I'm applying,

I have:

1. seven sawblades;
2. three lasers;
3. one mine;
4. one shockwave missile landing right on under my feet

on my tail in one single pull.

If it were not I'm ignorant of some mechanism, the only explanation is that RNG is intended to kill me.

I survived them all.

And got one-shot when I was trying to shake off the dizziness and re-engage, miscalculated the range of Blink, and knock right into the 7 sawblades I positioned beautifully at one point.

The boss died on that pull, but I don't even want to read the log. I cleared Recount once it's over.

It won't affect my application much, though. They'll be deduce big points for, if anything, the fact that I picked a Tier 5 talent for the trash pack before the boss and forgot to change it back, which in this circumstance is a most inconvenient mistake.

I've raided for 5 hrs, need some rest now. Feel free to /hug, /pat, /laugh or whatever you like at my tale.

I feel like I have that happen at times as well. Very frustrating. Double lasers are a killer for DPS.

I have stop to count the number of time Alter Time kill me. At the point that I'm asking my-self if putting it at a survival ability is some sort of bad joke.

I think I have kill a dozen of raid on Jin'rokh with it. (and at least one intentionally).

Because I, unlike the majority of users AT.com, don't have a stable, reliable group of people to raid with. I'm among the "PvE tramps", spending most of the lockouts wandering from PuG to PuG.

Of course, "discipline >> situational awareness > meter" in raiding, and any GM I deserve to work with should know it well. But in most PuGs, the organizer don't look anywhere beyond ilvl and Recount when deciding whom to kick. And as an applicant, I need to prove that I can consistently pump competitive numbers in both easy and dire situations.

Log analysis came out. In the rankings of the 13 bosses we downed, I, among the 6 DPS:

#1 in 2: Protectors, Shaman;
#2 in 2: Norushen, Galakras;
#3 in 3: Juggernaut, Nazgrim, Paragons;
#4 in 5 (how the bloody heck did I fail to get #1 for Spoils);
#8 (yes, below the gosh-darn tank) in 1.

More fights in the upper half than the lower, hope that'll be enough for an admission.

I once got 6 out of 6 lasers on IJ10hc p2. Yes that were 2 p2 since dps sucked. But somehow due to three healing it worked.

Sometimes I just pop Tempory Shield and close my eyes. No way to abandon my precious RoP.

Really miss the days when I can just throw FoF and Brain Freeze without staying my feet for one second, thinking of the line of Human Mortar Team in Warcraft III:

This, while I miss my mage dearly and pretend that it's still my main with every fiber of my soul, is why I don't mind tanking.
