Hey guys,

I would like to know what you think about the frost mage in BFA. Mainly about talents in BFA "beta"

Will be glacial spike the tier 1 talent or it will be another expansion with thermal void ? Maybe it will be ray of frost combined with rune of power ?

What you guys also think about spliting ice + ebonbbolt + glacial spike ? And will be frost better then fire/arcane in mythic + ?

And what about talents like chain reaction ala ctrl+c ctrl+v legendary how you feel about this lazy solution ?

Which talents would you choose ?

You should check the mage discord bfa channel. It's been discussed a lot.

Frost is currently doing bonkers in terms of numbers, mostly due to GS being overtuned. It should be tuned down before launch, but who knows.

Current talents in beta are BC/Shimmer/IF/Eb/CmS/GS. It's mostly fixed, except the level 90 tier where you'd choose based on the encounter (CmS for ST, SI for 2-4 targets, FR for mass AOE)

That is so cool, well I hope that GS will be not tuned down

So no more lonely winter ?

Nope. Lonely Winter was strong mostly with the artifact traits buffing a lot of the spells that LW buffed too. With that gone, and GS not being buffed by LW, it's suboptimal now.

Oh, yea. I hope that GS will be number one talent jesus I just want to use Booooom GC
