How do you feel about the mage in general?

I feel like the mage cant be considered like the superior/godlike caster it was. I have the impression (maybe that's only me) that blizzard tried to balance the 3 specs to do the same damages but in return they got really nerfed overall.

Also i found quite troublesome that every specs of the mage are optimized for mostly one situtation and for the same spec u need at least two set cause your best stats changes between aoe and st.

Maybe im the only one who feel that so i want opinions on this matter.
