Arcane Race Comparison [Updated 6.1]

Someone asked for a race comparison so I have run the sims below. Colour coded for Alliance & Horde. Pandaren is white.

As Blackrock release date has been announced, these sims include Blackrock gear and the set bonuses. Fight is 450 second (+/- 20%), light movement and single target (50,000 iterations).

What about encounters that don't last 6 minutes? Is Troll still the best horde race? (kargath on mythic for example)
As B11 you could use it up to 3 times since it's only at 2min cd

Patch 6.1 also brings us 125 stat food, boosting the relative rank of the Pandaren racial.

No. I will keep 6.1 sims separate so people do not get confused with live data.

Ok guys, I decided that I want to do a race-change.
I'm currently Orc and there's no way that I'll be playing frost.

I wanted to go for B11 since it's a 2min cooldown. Bosses will be killed much quicker as we gear up and i feel like 3 min cooldown's will only be used once at some point.

Not sure tbh. Thoughts? I know it's kindy pricey

I assume I should go B11 if I'm gonna stick to arcane on all bosses or troll if i respecc fire at some bosses?

Did you even bother to read the original post of this thread? With the info you are searching for. Troll is the best race for Arcane and Fire atm, and has allways been scaling really well with gear so i assume it will only be better in the next tiers to come.

But yes Bloodelf is definately viable for arcane and very little dps in front of Troll.

I have updated the original post to show the results for 6.1. As you would expect with 125 stat food now in play, Pandas are a lot higher ranked. As the results are so close I upped the iterations to 50,000 to get a smaller margin for error.

Just incase you are interested, the results below were the original results so you can see how the rankings have changed.

I read somewhere that Pandaren aren't getting the full benefit from their passive with the new food, still only getting 100 bonus, can anyone confirm so? I don't have any Pandaren at max myself.

I have just found some posts on the official forums saying they are not getting any double food buff regardless off it being the 125 food or not so I would say this is a bug.
