Darkmoon deck: Promises for arcane mage.

Does anyone know how this trinket interacts with arcane charges?

1. Mana cost = (Base mana - Trinket Reduction) * Arcane Charge multiplier
2. Mana cost = (Base mana * Arcane Charge multipler) - Trinket Reduction

If it is the first instance, this trinket at iLvl 900 actually sounds quite strong.

I had seen that topic, but it just looked like someones assumptions and they hadn't actually tested it.
