Netherlight Crucible Question

Sup yall, long time lurker here posting for the first time.
So basically for the netherlight crucible are we trying to get the arcane power extending trait?
I tend to be more of a feel it out player and extensive reading registers less in my playing than practically toying with things so I know there is data out there but I figured id ask:)

i think the consensus is that yes, ap trait is the best one.

However if you have to take a shitty T2 on the way then the 2nd, 3rd and even 4th best traits might be better for you.

Yes, but only if the relics are of the same ilevel. Ilevel is more important than those traits.

I have been holding on to my relics and simming all possible variations I have for the strongest impact. It actually works out to use a -1 weapon ilvl for now because the T2 trait is so strong. Once I have access to T3 in the location then I plan to swap it out because the T3 on the +1 weapon ilvl relic is stronger and the net gain is more.

i.e.
Relic 1 : 935
T2 trait +2% dps
T3 trait + 1% dps

Relic 2: 940
T2 trait +0.5% dps
T3 trait + 3% dps

So not counting the +1 ilvl there is benefit in the short term for lesser relic. In the long run the gains are stronger from the latter. Keep in mind these percentages compound too.
