As a fire / frost player I'm struggling very much with the arcane playstyle, because I'm so used to casting a spell (frostbolt / fireball) and spamming another spell as it's being cast to queue something immediately after the cast completes. But with arcane missiles I'm constantly ending the channel prematurely because I'm casting another missile or blast.
Is there a macro out there that will stop me from ever prematurely ending arcane missile channeling?
Any Macro To Avoid Cancelling Arcane Missiles?
Re: Any Macro To Avoid Cancelling Arcane Missiles?
try this:
#showtooltip
/cast [nochanneling] Arcane Missiles
I don't recommend using it though, it's a dps loss vs just doing your missiles correctly.

Can't do the rule of 3s of you don't trigger the next arcane missles withen the others cast time.

You need to press it at 1. That said, you do want a nochanneling macro for arcane barrage or any other spell, since the last missile from AM is also the last ‘tick’. You can easily clip that if you cast AB or any spell too early. Yes, even on 1 it clips the last missile.

this WA doesn't work during lust as it shows every AM as proccing RO3, also you need to press your next AM at 2 for you to get the benefit.
