im not so sure, regarding stargate: 30% more of nothing is still barely nothing :D

I don't get why stat sticks have suddenly become so much better. What was changed? :/
Intellect is worth more now comparatively
How much more? Could you maybe provide some link to description of that change? I completely didn't catch it in patch notes :c

It's not like intellect is much better than it was (only 15% crit chance increased buff if i remember correctly) It's about other stats being significantly worse. Secondary stat scalling change linked above, crit nerf etc, and we are left with Int being the best, but not much better than it was.

Stat sticks was good for other classes aswell even before 7.1.5, but we got PI (25% -> 10%), RoP (50% -> 40%), Combust (100% -> 50%) which interacted with them, and all of those got nerfed

That's why I threw in comparatively. It's not just the stats themselves, but since all of our spells hit harder now as well it makes the trinkets with procs even less competitive.

i got Pharamere's Forbidden Grimoire ilvl 900 from TW cache. I wonder if its gonna be viable after 85% buff.

Well... but I'm still confused about trinkets. And sims are always only a theory and I'm never sure what to believe. Good I didnt throw away that helya crit trinket :3

It really does depend. No one likes that answer but it's true.

For example, if you run Mi, haste will scale quite well. If you run RoP, not so much.

So, that affects which gear will work better for you. You really need to sim for yourself and re-sim every time you change anything.

PS...I went to Mi from RoP and the freedom of it never gets old. I love it. My gear is leaning heavily on haste now and I haven't really noticed the crit loss in terms of instant pyros.

This is where I'm at. I have been steadily decreasing crit and increasing haste, using simcraft each time I add a new piece of gear. Some items still scale better at crit/mast or crit/vers or whatever but not as much as before. I would say it crit was 55ish and haste was 10ish before I switched to Mi. Now, below, you can see a big change. And haste continues to sim better with the gear I'm picking up. Even early on, I felt that Mi was better for me than RoP but, I don't do M+ or even regular raids so that's something to consider.

It's weird to me that the waist leggo sims ahead of the ring. The scorch dmg+stats can't be better than having a 2nd hero.

No, I still use crit gems, enchants, etc. It's all from gear. My neck is Satyr.

Just look at Gnobody - Elune Fire Mage

Also, don't look at Mr. Robot if you're going to use Simcraft. For example, Mr. Robot shows a 2k difference between the 865 alc trinket and the 850 Brinewater Slime on my character. The simcraft difference is 300. I've seen lots of examples just like this between the two. Mr Robot also shows my dps at 400k. It simcrafts at 433.

What about the guaranteed crit? You know what happens when you crit 2 times in a row as fire mage?

I got the leg gloves too and was quite dissappointed. But i think kindling will make a return in 7.2, when you can buff combustion duration with artifact traits.
