That would work, though I'm not sure why you'd want to use a speed boost with an ability that puts you back where you started at the end.

The point is to fit in as many pyro's in as short of a period as possible to game the ignite mechanic to achieve higher Combustions.

For people who think ignite is just a 4 second window and they want to fit in 5 pyroblasts because someone told them it was better. Run back with nitro then run toward the boss. Funny thing is you don't need nitro to get to max distance and back to the boss.

You can also it to get in to melee distance very easily once you ping back with AT.
