excellent guide, although the classtrinket is easily usable as of 21.7.16, did a full run today and never got anywhere near beeing oom (i have 1700 haste, yes too much i know!)
Flamepatch still being bugged hurts it's dps tho, didn't hurt my overall dps raidwise :) meteor is very weak and tbh should be buffed but that that's another story i guess

Mana use ToSW has been in for more then a day. I had zero mana issues pushing fire blasts as much as possible with a lot of procs.

Cross posting from MMO-C:

Details on the Rune bug: if two mages cast Rune while in combat and within 8 yards of each other (i.e. the Runes will overlap) the mage who casted it second doesn't receive the buff. Running off the Rune and back on does not fix it. Casting the Runes in a non-overlapping position works fine, as does casting them out of combat.

Also I still definitely can run oom on dummies using ToSW.

I don't know the language so I can't delve too deeply into it, but ToSW does not have 100% chance to proc Flamestrike. It was working for me fine earlier tonight : https://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/1X ... &source=11" target="_blank

Though with that said...can anyone comment on the total lack of Flame Patch damage? Is it just getting counted as something else on WCL due to the newness of it?

Was messing around with different setups in my garrison, and was pleasantly surprised to see 1M openers still happen. Made a quick YT clip, but only managed 900k+ during recording. Openers seem pretty consistent with the setup I used, didn't think we could still burst so hard. Here's the clip if you want to check it out, shoutout to Rinoa's great guide at the end.

you have to use combust+fireblast at the end of very first scorch so both will crit 100% since combustion is off gcd

edit:
goddamit you are correct. i was too slow and it was gamble---

you might have to use beserking (racial) right after rop and then pop bl+scorch to fit that last pyro in
totally forgot that berserking can't be used while casting

A question about Kindling and Flame On (and RoP by consequence) came to mind. When you reach a high level of crit, your combustion cd will actually get pushed pretty far below the 1min30sec mark that would line it up with Flame On especially on pull with BL. Would it in this scenario sim higher to delay the Flame On to when Combustion comes off cd, which makes you sit on Flame On charge for like 20 sec rather than delay Combustion in order to get a RoP/Flame combo at the 45sec mark? This is obviously very fight length and mechanic dependent in relation to how many combusts you can get out, but I was wondering if there would be some general guidelines for this.

This brings also to mind that you could theoretically push your combustion cd pretty low using scorch only.

I mainly wanted to complement his post with the addition of using scorch to lower your cd even further.

Not sure if you are replying to my post or the one after it, but the purpose here was simply to put some questions up for discussion and get feedback from people who actually have the know-how to effectively test this in simcraft.

Why do you switch to Fireball+Pyro during your second Rune of Power? I'm guessing it's just a precaution in case SMP alone won't guarantee you a Scorch crit.
