Nighthold is around the corner and I'm wondering if I should still use my bonus coins for current raid trinkets or already save the coins for NH.
Do you guys get any idea on which trinkets will be BiS for fire with Nighthold?
Yesterday, I simmedwith every NH hc trinket version plus Sinew M, Arcanocrystal 860 and Aran's Ruby 860 (w/o chest).
The result was Guldan trinket (Casting speed proc) ~= Arcanocrystal = Sinew > Aran > other NH trinkets, iirc.
In conclusion then, all but one NH HC trinkets are weaker compared to the other 3 trinkets. Really?

Gonna try to post some results later.

Well you can only hold 6 right? So I guess save 3 from next week so you go into NH with 6. or maybe hold 5 so if you get one from an emissary you don't waste one (although I don't actually know how this works).

is sinew still going to be at its current level with MI running the numbers that it is vs RoP?

You can effectively have 9+ coins - save 6, after reset spend 3, buy 3 again at vendor, and fish for mission.

How does one fish for a mission?

You can have 10 coins for Nighthold because timewalking is that week, 11 if we can get a raid mission.

I just got Chrono Shard 880 w/ socket and simmed it just for lolz. With the Mythic+ preset, it simmed 15k DPS higher than my 880 Bough of Corruption. Is this real?
With the Ursoc preset, it simmed 2k DPS lower though.

Considering the RNG nature of the Bough, I would prefer the Shard then...

PS: I also got:
880 Naraxas
875 Wriggling
865 Aran's (using this +chest)
865 Deteriorated Construct Core
880 Moonlit Prism
860 Arcanocrystal
870 Twisting Wind
865 Manacracker
865 Baton
860 Plaguehive
865 Horrorslime
865 Oakheart
875 Ethereal Urn

In lieu of the Aran's nerf I'm going to need to start running more NL and Arcway :?

Just ran a quick simulation with last night's build using a Ursoc preset.

885 Bough sims 3k higher than 880 Wriggling (just below the new legendary trinket).
I've seen the posts about Wriggling not being as effective come 7.1.5 - but to see Bough sim this high confuses me. Can someone explain this to me?

*EDIT: My 880 Portable Manacracker sims even higher than the Bough. 2k higher to be precise.

I also have:
890 Plaguehive + socket
880 Oakheart
880 Unstable Horrorslime
860 Aran's + socket (chestpaired)
885 Helya trinket (with vers)
885 Etheral Urn

Which trinkets would you use?

I would like to your input, guys. I'm struggling with deciding which trinket to use.

I have the following trinkets:
  • Wriggling Sinew (865) - currently equipped
  • Aran's Relaxing Ruby (860) - currently equipped
  • Brinewater Slime in a Bottle (895) - Intellect (1,968) + Mastery (1,158)
  • Unstable Horrorslime (885)
  • Eye of Skovald (885)
I do not have the Chest from Nightbane, haven't been that lucky yet, so Aran is currently unpaired. Along with that, I heard that Aran got nerfed?

Which two trinkets would you use now in 7.1.5?

Note: I have access to 7/7M and 3/3H gear from EN and ToV, just haven't been lucky with the Wriggling Sinew yet.

Bough isn't bad and simms accordingly, but to be honest it does very unreliable damage. I got logs where it only does 2% of my damage over an entire EN boss fight. And that is even on encounters with lots of adds. That being said, it also could go up to 8% of my total damage. Usually a good trinket should be doing >5% of the total damage.

Does anyone know if they fixed the multiple-bough-trinkets-in-raid issue?

Still unreliable for me as of late evening Jan 12th 2017 per the EN (H) logs I reviewed. 2.1%-8.9% of total dmg likely to another in raid user as prior. No fix.

Willl be swapped hopefully beginning of next week or 2 or 3 with any: Metronome, Whispers, Brinewater or Stargate (awesome name!). Will then have an 880 CS+ 880+any of those.

Sim it on your own character. It's the only way to really find out what's what for you.

Use nightly builds instead, since patch was few days ago and we still figure out changes nightly builds can vary a lot so it's better to use latest one as long as it's not completely crushed (for example someone reported 100% crit in some old build)

Hi all, just got Kil'jaeden's Burning Wish. Was wondering what would be a good trinket to pair with it. Since I can't do 2 on use, I wouldn't be able to make use of Wriggling Sinew, however my WS is 890, so maybe 2 on use is worth waiting for here?

What I'm currently using is KBW + DD:Hellfire for single target and AoE KBW + Ruby.

I have an 880 Horrorslime, 870 Plaguehive and 860 Twisting Winds.
