haste over value ?

recently switched to fire mage from frost and trying to get my stat priority in order, with that said raidbots is telling my to get insane amounts of haste ? is it overvaluing it because of firestarter and waist legendary? should i just ignore what it says and continue getting more mastery ?

Usually has to do with your owl trinket, the trinket does absurd amounts of dmg for fire mages. This mainly being because of combustion + incanters flow buffing it up nicely.
Im no way near a pro fire mage, but my haste scaling first escalted alot when i got that trinket.
Myself i just aim for higher ilvl as long as it doesnt have a ton of crit. You scale well off all stats besides crit (all depending on how much you have atm) but i mostly go towards haste and mastery as you can really shine on those cleave fights high levels of mastery

It's not overvaluing haste, no. You'd only be gearing into mastery for AoE, which you are not simming here.
