Hey guys, great site you got going here been lurking for a bit and thought I would make an appearance.

I am currently running as Troll but was thinking Blood Elf might be a better choice for the 1% Crit specialy moving forward when WoD and levelling kicks in.

I tried running some sims and changing the race in the profile but unsure if it was working.

Also off-topic I am getting Mastery as a preferred stat over Crit, current ilvl 586



What do you guys think on both accounts?

Hi Berlinia, Self buffed stats are

Crit - 986 rating (57.87%) [52.87% without Arcane Brilliance]
Mastery - 369 Rating (36.07%)
Haste - 504 Rating (25.2%)
Multistrike - 101 Rating (7.21%)

Wondering if I should be stacking more mastery now. I don't have the Mythic WF Swirling helm but I am using the Mythic WF Rime-Rift shoulders as my off piece which has Mastery on it.

Even though SimC is not my area of expertise, from what I have understood the amount of stats on your gear affects your stat weights. Assuming you had 0 crit, then Crit would have a humongous stat weight! So due to you now having verry little Mastery relative to Crit, Mastery becomes more powerful

Yeah with the shorter fights as well I am sure its even more valuable.

I guess if I had the wand and Ominous belt it would factor differently.
