Is There Actually a Crit Cap?

Unread postby Nigamus Tue Sep 18, 2018 5:14 am

I've been raidbots simming for some time now when I get new pieces of gear. I'm 365 atm with keystone conqueror and AOTC. Until now, I had always had 30%+ crit and raidbots stat weights would always say that haste/vers/mast were all weighing more than crit. Now that I had to drop some crit for higher il pieces without it, I have 27% crit and raidbots is saying crit is even higher than int. A little over 2 dps per point of crit. Is there actually a crit cap now of 30%, or is something else up?

Stats are a balancing act. Too much or too little of any stat tends to steer the weights to a different direction.

You should probably just use top gear in your gearing choices, and do away with weights when deciding what to wear

If it's the same item level, I try to choose better weights. That's the only real time I decide to use it. I get same il pieces all the time
