Altered Time - your #1 World of Warcraft Mage resource!

Hi all,

My question is: when is the best time to cast living bomb? Is it when the mobs are all at full health so it spreads? Or should I wait until the mob is about 5-10% health, cast living bomb, and get that instant explosion? I played fire mage during legion and feel like waiting til the last second to cast it was the norm. This is primarily for a mythic + scenario. Let me know! thanks.

On cooldown. The longer you wait the longer till your next one. You only lose dps if another mob dies before it goes off on your afflicted mob. If you put on a target about to die it goes off quicker but you can get 2-3 on a hard group of mobs if you cast it while running towards them. Target a mob on low health if you can but not waste much time changing targets.
