Hi everybody,

Can anyone explain to me why the number for 1% haste of the goblin is not always the same.
For example: 9522 and 9007 for goblin = 9522-9007= 515
12684-12138= 546 and 14242-13629= 613

So what is the right number for the 15832 HBP for a goblin

Thanks

Because haste is multiplicative and not additive. The more of it you have, the larger the gap between Goblin and non-Goblin. That is to say, 20% Haste with a 5% haste buff is not 25%. It is 100% * 1.20 * 1.05 = 1.26. This is even bigger if you're Frost with Frost Armor on.

Using Int/X gems are trivial. In single target situations youre going to lose around 0,5% - 1,5% DPS, since secondary stats are stronger. But I dont recommend you to build your gear around 1 fight in SoO. Using Int Hybrid gems will lead to a considerable higher DPS on fights with Nether Tempest or on fights like Garrosh / Siegecrafter / Shamans, where you have the option to AoE.

tl;dr Version : Haste (until 15832) > Mastery = Crit (until 20%) > Crit (over 20%) > Haste (over 15832) while using Int hybrid gems
Hey, thanks for this. Gonna try it out in tomorrows raid.
I have a question about the int/X gems though. Why? :)
If I gem Int/Mastery instead of Exp/Mastery it means I have to reforge more into hit. Do you really mean that 1 int is better than 2 mastery?

Hey, I'm currently progressing garrosh 25hc, and i was wondering if it is worth losing about 1k mastery to reach that 15.7k haste cap for single target. I will also check on logs to see if theres any improvement
Update: my single target dps has improved from what I've witnessed, So I can approve the single target stats.
